print and design
FILES All files must be print ready. Vector files or 300dpi or higher at 100% imprint size raster files are required. Word processing, PowerPoint and Publisher files are not accepted. Special Products LLC can assist in final file preparation for standard art charges. Objects, outlines, strokes, and text must be at least 2 point thickness. Anything smaller may not be guaranteed to appear on final print.
DESIGN Do you need help thinking up a design idea? We offer professional design services at a rate of $35.00/hr.
SIZE Standard apparel maximum print size is 12in x 12in. Imprint size varies based on apparel style and sizing. Oversized apparel prints and custom placement available.
COLOR Special Products LLC will match colors as close as possible to inks available. Remember that colors may look different based on the apparel color.
PROOF APPROVAL An art approval is mandatory for an order to proceed into printing, and must be submitted in writing. Any errors found after proof approval will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Customer is responsible for all original and reprint costs.
COPYRIGHT Customer is solely responsible for obtaining legal ownership and/or permission for all art, typefaces and content prior to submitting for printing. Special Products LLC reserves the right to reject submitted art.
ESTIMATES Pricing varies due to many variables, such as style of apparel or paper, quantity order and number of colors printed. Each estimate is unique and can vary based on these factors. Like the name suggests, an estimate is an estimate; it may change if the order changes along the way. We'll keep you informed as we move along so there are no surprises!
MINIMUMS For some orders (like 1-color art), there are no minimums. Some orders (like 4-color process art) have a minimum of 12 pieces. Apparel styles can be assorted as long as the same design fits on all styles, colors and sizes.
WAYS TO SAVE There are a few ways to cut costs, both in total and unit cost. For example, if you use fewer colors, costs will go down. Or if you order more, cost per unit will go down. We are happy to work with you and make suggestions to complete your project within an existing budget and still coming out with a project you'll be proud to share.
REORDERS Project screens are available for one month after project delivery date. If reorder takes place within a 2-month time frame, any set up or screen fees may be waved. Want to own your screen and have it forever? Contact us for more info.
ORDER MODIFICATION Requests to modify or change an order once it has been placed are handled on a case-by-case basis. Special Products LLC will make every effort to accommodate requests to modify orders. However due to various factors, Special Products LLC may not be able to accommodate all requests.
ORDER CANCELLATION Requests to cancel an order will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Special Products LLC cannot guarantee cancellation depending on various factors, and cannot cancel once printing has begun.
RETURNS Special Products LLC does not accept returns on customized products. Products without customization may be returned on a case-by-case basis and may include a 35% restocking fee. Special Products LLC reserves the right to reject returns at its own discretion.
RUSH ORDERS If an order is needed 9 to 7 business days after order date, a 35% rush fee will be added to the total invoice, as well as any rush shipping charges.
SHIPPING Orders will be shipped via UPS Ground or USPS. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs, which will be included on the final invoice. Arrangements can be made for local pick-up.
